ABOUT US Amber Mortgage Lending Corp. began operation in August of 1998 as the sole proprietorship Amber Mortgage and became incorporated in November of 2002. The name Amber was used for two reasons. First, Amber starts with an "A" and would thus appear first in the Yellow Pages for advertising purposes. And second, Amber is a mineral composed of petrified tree sap. John Rossini, the president, studied minerals as part of his college major. John Rossini started the company in August of 1998 after spending 10 years at a regional bank leaving as vice president of consumer lending. John obtained an M.B.A. from DePaul University and a B.S. in geology/geophysics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His M.B.A. gave him the fortitude to venture out on his own and he hasn't looked back. Amber Mortgage Lending Corp. is currently licensed to do business in Illinois. |
